I saw the writer Lee Yun-Kee's photos of Greece trip in one of his book. (I kept buying his books in the late Nineties. I even met him in the EBS TV lecture studio, while he was talking about Greek Goddess. Of courese at that time, I got his autograph on the first page of my old Greek Myth book, translated several years ago by Mr. Lee himself!)
As you may know, he admired Nikos Kazantzakis so much, so Mr. Lee visited Kazan...'s tomb and gave him 'Soju' - he actually brought the Korean soju to greet his big hero. I think he(Mr. Lee) is a pretty romantic guy.
Did you read Zorba? I'm sure you did. How did the reading affect your opinion on greek people? I want to know.
And... what do you think about the Mr. Lee?
